Hi. I wondered about Pets. Most often we (people in the CZ) breed hamsters or  other rodents. Of course, dogs and cats too. And on the Farm keep we chickens, goats, horses and other animals.
But.. what breed you? Bears? xD Ok, write me what, please.

The basement is finally fixed:)  I am moving back into my bedroom tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am extremely exited to get my bedroom back and to actually start band practices with my friend Justin.( also on this blog)

Today I helped my dad pack 75 bundles of pine into my basement. The pine is so the walls do not look like plywood. My dad should finish working in our basement at the beginning of March.

I am so excited about the Olympics coming to Vancouver in a couple of days. In the men's hockey, experts have predicted that Canada will win gold and I hope they are right. Men's Hockey is my favourite event in the Olympics. What is your favourite event?

On New Years' Day sewer water started backing up through the floor drains into my house:( Almost all the walls and some of the floors had to get ripped out. Today I had to help pack 44 sheets of plywood into my basement so we can start putting the walls and floors back in. We have hardly any toys or games because they are in storage. I am sleeping in our dining room currently because I usually sleep in the basement but it flooded. My dad is doing the work because if the company that was going to do it ended up doing it, it would take a couple of months before they even got the wood into the house. We have most of the wood in the house but we have not purchased all of it yet.

Thank you very much Paige, that you sent me the christmas card,it´s very beautiful! I got it today and I said : "Oh my God! This is from Canada!". I was really happy :)
I spent my christmas at home with my family. I got a lot of things on snowboard. I ride on snowboard 5 years and it´s really fun! Do you ride on snowboard ,too?:)
My mum is really crazy,because she said that she want learn to ride on snowboard,too! I just said: "Mum, you are crazy! You will be falling down(always) and it´s very difficult!" XD. So, I hope that my mum was joking :D.Next week I will go to the mountains,so I look forward!:)

Christmas in CR and in Prague

♦Prague is very beautiful at Christmas. If it snows, everything in Prague is white or gray. So at Christmas Prague is white – gray city. =)

Like in every city shops are full because everybody is buying presents or food. At some places (near the shopping centres) you can find Christmas tree sellers.

In many squares, there are Christmas markets (there you can buy very beauty presents).

Two weeks ago on Old Town square (one of the oldest squares in the historical part of Prague) they lit up our main Christmas tree. It’s 27 metres tall and it’s from Vrchlabí (that’s town in the north of CR).

But Christmas tree is in the Wenceslav and the Peace (time) square too.

In CR we have many Christmas customs like baking Christmas biscuits, pouring lead and singing Christmas carols. But like people from other countries we like Christmas.

♦Our Christmas holidays usually start two days before Christmas Eve. We eat a lot of sweets and Christmas biscuits.We prepare some Christmas presents.In the morning we decorate Christmas tree.In the evening on 24th December we have Christmas dinner with our family. Many children watch TV. For dinner we have carp and potato salad. We start the dinner with fish soup. We open our presents after dinner. We listen to Christmas carols.

Hello. My name is Andreas and I'm going to describe my life to you. My favourite subjects at school are Czech, English and German. I hate Maths, because it's very difficult. My dad is from Germany and Mum from the Czech Republic, so I speak very good German.. Um, what to say.. I'm not too exciting, I'm a bit boring and don't speak a lot. I love Canada, because Stompdown Killaz [SDK] are from there. My hobbies are painting, computer, table tennis and I did karate two years ago, but I'm lazy, so I stopped. I'm very happy, although I don't know why :)
I have a dog, called Hanny, two guinea pigs called Harry and Hermiona, but both are girls. I also got two lapins [rabbits] called Ron and Ťapinka /something like "footpad"/

Hey everyone, my name's Andrea but everybody calls me Andie =)  I study at Junior Language school Lupacovka. My favourite subject s are Languages (especially English), History and Geography. Since I can remember, I've always loved music. You can't meet me without headphones. I really like playing drums and I've just started with playing guitar. I really want to have  a band but I don't think I can make it... I mean that I haven't already found some people intrested to music as much as me. I love bands Something Corporate, Elliot Minor, Simple Plan(Canadian x) ), Taking Back Sunday, Fox Avenue and so much more. I love to go to the nature with my dog or with my horse just for relax. I've danced  street dance in a dance group Hope. But I have to stop it because of some problems with my health =(. In my free time I like going out with my friends and just do some fun stuff with them. I love comedy and when I wanna feel little bit scary I like horros but comedy wins. By the way Ben Stiler always makes me laugh. TV Shows like Familly Guy, Friends, The O.C., How I met your mother, The Scrubs and House are my favourite ones. I'm happy that I can be in this project and I'm really happy that I can write with you canadian people!!! =) But enough about me! What about you?

My favourites subjects at school are languages and biology. I want to be a psychologist, or a writer. I love Czech republic, Prague, and nature, but I'll write about it the same article. I like Czech republic, but I love Prague! There's a lot of things to do in this awesome city. If you're a tourist, Prague can offer you lot of monuments, old bridges, museums or galleries. Specially in the center of the city, there are many restaurants and hotels. If you have enough of sightseeing, you can go swim to aquapark or play golf and so on. Well, I'm doing fencing ( http://www.serm-praha.cz/ ). I used to do handball and athletic, but I don't like running, so fencing won.
Free time..
In free time, I like reading, watching TV, interntet and going out with my friends. I love sitcoms like Friends and How I Met Your Mother. From books, I like fantasy - Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Chronicles of ancient darkness - and historical novels. I'm also big Twilight saga fan. I'm collecting coins and autographs.
I love languages, especially croatian and english. I like Smart pet, because I can here improve my english.

Well, what else to write about myself...I love languages, specially english. With Smart pet we go for great trips. For example, we visited The British embassy and we were on a seminar about the environment. Smart pet is a great programme, because you can study this beautiful language deeper.
